Go Ham for a Ham and Pineapple Burger

A Chef Original Recipe!

I have fried ham and pineapple often, but sometimes I love having it as a hamburger. It’s up to you if you want to try it as a ham burger or just by its self. I guarantee either way is delicious.

The flavours are amazing.

IF your not a cooked pineapple person you can just have the ham. This is a good way to do cooked ham, leaving nice flavours.

DIRECTIONS

This is the cheese and ham I use. Slice the ham to the thickness you like. I slice mine about 2 centimetres thick.

Add butter in a pan on medium-high heat. once the butter has melted add the ham and pineapple.

Cook the pineapple and ham for around 5 minutes until they start to go brown. Put on the buns to toast either in the pan or what ever you use to toast buns. Cook the pineapple and ham until both sides have a nice brown look.

Once the buns, ham and pineapple are cooked its time to assemble the burger. Butter the buns.

On the bottom bun, add pineapple, ham, pineapple then cheese.

Add the next layer of ham, pineapple and cheese.

Add the last layer of ham, pineapple and cheese.

On the bottom of the top bun add the BBQ sauce. Pop the bun on.

Voila done. Enjoy!
